MARKET RASEN: FOLLOW THE BEST TO PROFIT FROM HORSERACING. Don’t ask me why, but Market Rasen has always been one of my luckiest betting tracks. Hopefully that isn’t enough to jinx proceedings at the East Midlands venue, but with that said, here are three previews and selections for today’s card.

MARKET RASEN: FOLLOW THE BEST TO PROFIT FROM HORSERACING
13:17 – SEAMOON STORY 7/1
RISK DU ROI was brave when winning at Leicester. The Henrietta Knight-trained five-year-old is rated 117, which effectively becomes 111 once his 6lb penalty is removed. On that basis alone, he looks vulnerable and is likely to struggle.
While he has some solid form, CINQUENTA has had enough chances and isn’t guaranteed to stay this extra distance. JUKEBOX KING should have learned from his hurdling debut, but he still needs to find plenty.
Point-to-point winner GEE FORCE FLYER finished third and second in his two hurdle starts and is rated 118 as a result. The six-year-old has a bit of scope and conditions should suit, but for the winner I prefer SEAMOON STORY, who ran well above expectations at Ascot last time out.
Based on that most recent effort, the son of Sea Moon could easily be rated 117. The five-year-old is dropping back in grade and is clearly on the upgrade. David Bass is a positive booking, and that’s enough for us to side with the Charlie Longsdon-trained gelding.

If You demand long term success at Sportsbetting – let me help you raise your games. The coaching services covers all angles on finding bets. Whereas, the consultancy service is for established professional gamblers who need optimisation guidance, planning, extraction process, how to grow, and much more. Normally, i should be charging 500 per hour, but for now the price is 100 for a person to person one-on-one. To book an hour or two, get in touch [email protected].
13:47 – GRANDAD’S CAP 5/2
FRANKIE FAULKNER continues to run well without getting his head in front. Although he’s feasibly handicapped, he looks more likely to place than win once again.
ALLTALKNOACTION represents in-form trainer Tim Easterby. He ran well over this course and distance last time out, but he’s been hit with another 3lb rise for that effort.
As for TRY THE MONEY, Henry Oliver’s eight-year-old is still seeking his first win after 14 attempts. The son of Westerner is capable of making the frame, but he’s expensive to follow and not one to back for win purposes.
GRANDAD’S CAP is the bet. The L J Morgan-trained six-year-old ran better last time out and may well have finished closer than a five-length third of seven to COULDBEAWEAPON had he not been hampered. Kevin Brogan looks a good fit, and just a touch of improvement should see him go very close.
14:55 – IMMORTAL FLAME 7/1
Backing Jonjo O’Neill-trained runners can often feel like a quick route to the poorhouse. In this race, the Cheltenham handler is responsible for early favourite IMPATIENT. While the eight-year-old has bits of form, he’s one I couldn’t entertain at the current odds.
KAYCE DUTTON is a course-and-distance winner but now finds himself on a career-high mark. He should give his running, but it’s hard to see him following up his last success.
SMURFETTE would have won last time had he not made a mistake at the final fence. It was still a solid effort from the T Ellis-trained eight-year-old, but he’s been hit with another 5lb rise in the weights.
I’m happy to side with the attractively priced IMMORTAL FLAME. Deborah Cole’s ten-year-old has won eight of his 28 career starts and is three from 12 over fences. He’s back down to a winning mark and appears to be well suited by this distance.
