PROFESSIONAL RACING SERVICE – THREE TOP BETS (FREE PREVIEW)
Below is a selection of my strongest early bets from today’s racing, based on form, conditions, and value in the market. As always, prices are subject to change, so getting value is key. Good luck if you’re following along, and do your best with learning racing for yourself!

PROFESSIONAL RACING SERVICE – THREE TOP BETS (FREE PREVIEW)
Exeter 2:44 – MOUNTAIN MIKE (3/1)
This is a four-runner race, but according to the betting market it’s a competitive affair.
Despite receiving plenty of weight, I can’t imagine KALHANDRION winning. While he is lightly raced and should improve further, his jumping isn’t good enough for a testing track like this.
Another who doesn’t interest me is the early favourite LANGANHILL, who, following three chase runs, has dropped two pounds in the ratings. On paper this is an easier race than those he has contested, but visually he hasn’t been convincing.
ITSEEMSLIKEIT was pulled up last time out, but prior to that he had won back-to-back races. With Harry Cobden booked for the ride on the David Pipe-trained gelding, he should receive maximum assistance from the saddle.
Nevertheless, the one that interests me most is chasing debutant MOUNTAIN MIKE, a seven-year-old who is switching codes after just three runs. He was an impressive winner last time out on testing ground, and his trainer wouldn’t be sending him over fences unless he expected further improvement.
Ffos Las 2:22 – KING SACRE (7/2)
SHADE OF WINTER does have a bit of scope, but he is yet to win and has failed to justify short prices on two occasions. On that basis, his current odds are unappealing.
JAMADA will be assisted by the champion jockey and ran his best race on similar ground last time out. Nevertheless, on official ratings, both he and the favourite have four and one pounds respectively to find with the selection.
While KING SACRE failed to fire on his first run for Venetia Williams, he was a convincing winner of an Irish point-to-point on similar ground to today’s. The stable was out of form at the time and is in much better order now, which makes the booking of Charlie Deutsch another reason for optimism.

Ffos Las 3:22 – OURBROWNEYEDGIRL (11/1)
The three principals have all won recently, including ETOM MES, who scored last time out for today’s jockey. With scope for further improvement, the short-priced favourite should be competitive.
I’ve been against EL GAVILAN on his last two starts, and for now I believe the handicapper may have caught up with this five-year-old.
FRESH SPECULATION is a course-and-distance winner on heavy ground, but he is giving weight away to all of his rivals.
I want to take a chance on OURBROWNEYEDGIRL, who is currently available at double-figure odds. While her jockey doesn’t always convince, receiving plenty of weight from the others on testing ground is enough to inspire confidence at this price.
