WARWICK WINNERS: 3 RACE BETTING PREVIEW & FREE TIPS
2:35 — DUNSKAY 4/1
While this is only a Class 4 race, several runners have the potential to improve. In fact, three of them have never raced over fences, and those that have are still lightly tried.
With the Skeltons on fire, CHUGGY is a logical favourite. The five-year-old made a successful chasing debut, and having raced only three times over hurdles, connections clearly expect this son of WALK IN THE PARK to progress in this sphere. However, while he was game in winning at Uttoxeter, the others in that race have done nothing for the form. And although he battled well to fend off DEXTER, a six-pound rise in the handicap certainly isn’t a gift.
ANOTHER FOLLY and MAVIS PIKE have proven chasing form, but the one I want to be on is Ben Pauling’s chasing debutant DUNSKAY. The six-time–raced six-year-old won two of his three bumper starts, though he failed to score in three hurdle runs. Nevertheless, he’s exactly the type to make into a better chaser, and he gets to start off a very workable handicap mark of 105.

3:10 — GETAWAY THEATRE 7/1
Several of these can be discounted straight away, starting with the ageing STARMAN and the out-of-form SPORTING ACE. As for the Ian Williams-trained CATCH THE FIRE, I can’t see him winning on seasonal debut.
KISS MY FACE looks fully exposed, while GWENNIE MAY STAR continues to disappoint. With the Hobbs/White team in good nick, the yard’s MURPHY’S MILAN must have a chance. The six-year-old ran a fair race on his return, and a first-time hood should eke a little more out of him. However, odds of 3/1 are lean, and I prefer looking elsewhere.
When last seen, THANKYOURLUCKYSTAR bolted up by 15 lengths. That was the first time the nine-year-old was partnered by the talented Harry Skelton, who is reunited today. But while he won on his seasonal debut last year, an 11-pound hike makes life tough.
I’m expecting seasonal debutant GETAWAY THEATRE to return in the winner’s enclosure. The lightly raced seven-year-old mare was progressive when last seen, and the handicapper hasn’t been harsh. With the Edmunds team more than capable of readying one, she’s worth siding with.

3:40 — BOBBI’S BEAUTY 8/1
You can see the plan with KYKOROCK — get him handicapped over hurdles and launch his chasing career from a low mark. However, this isn’t the easiest track for that approach, and I couldn’t take the favourite’s price.
I wouldn’t want to be on a hold-up horse around here, so I won’t be touching the Tom Symonds-trained DROMLAC JURY.
SUPERSTYLIN doesn’t look particularly well handicapped over fences, so I’m siding with BOBBI’S BEAUTY. Since switching to chasing, the Martin Keighley-trained seven-year-old mare has improved to win three of her seven starts. Racing handily with an attacking ride from Sam Twiston-Davies should put her spot-on for a winning seasonal return.
